What can happen to you when you think you already know everything about your family?

SYNOPSIS: A father with a retrograde and popular mentality, a loving but perhaps too devoted mother to her husband, a man who is already an adult but still imprisoned in the role of son, and an unexpected very cordial guest are confronted around the same table. Something that has always divided them, but that has remained hidden for decades, is about to emerge. Will they arrive safely to the dessert, or will family harmony be irreparably compromised already at the first meatball?

Playing with important national traditions, such as football support or Sunday lunch, In Zona Cesarini portrays with ironic realism four characters immersed in a family everyday life, made of precarious balances and hard but necessary clashes, just like that of all of us.
